- Mid-Sale Reorder Distribution – For all who ordered reorders, I hope your distributions went well yesterday and today! 😊
- Unit-to-Unit Transfers – Don’t forget to be utilizing our Bay-Lakes Council Kernel Korner (https://www.facebook.com/groups/650399508887876) to post what products you are looking for or may have extras of. Several of our districts have similar pages for your specific district, but transferring products between districts is NOT limited to units in the same district as you. Please remember to have a signature from both units involved on the transfer form (found at https://baylakesbsa.org/2025-bay-lakes-council-popcorn-sale/2025-blc-unit-to-unit-transfer-sheet/), then please email it to Nikki and I and we will make the transfer in the Pecatonica system.
- Commission – As you’re looking at your unit’s commission matrix on the PR website, please let Nikki or I know ASAP if you see something that doesn’t look right or need to make any changes to your prize/no prize option.
- In the Pecatonica River website, you are able to view your unit’s commission matrix and where you currently stand. You’ll see a line that says ACH Authorization – Yes Rate 0. If it says Apply Yes, you have given us your ACH information. You’ll also see a line that says ACH Authorization – No Rate -.05. If this line is marked as yes, it means that we have not yet received your ACH information, and you’ll be deducted the 5% commission for not submitting. If this line is marked no, it means we have your information, and you will NOT be deducted. It can be a little confusing, so please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions! - Selling Tips – Be sure to keep the energy up with your sale. Some fun ideas include:
- Do a weekly raffle for Scouts that make sales that week
- Do a contest for Scouts to completely fill out their order forms
- Reward the Scout who goes to the most houses or logs the most storefront hours in a week
- Make a unit goal each week and celebrate once you hit it
- I’ve attached a copy of a fun Bingo board idea to keep your Scouts motivated
- Festival Foods Storefront Sales – If your unit is signed-up to sell at Festival Foods locations, don’t forget to fill out the Cart Lobby Contract located at https://baylakesbsa.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/2023-Festival-Foods-Cart-Lobby-Contract.pdf and bring it with you.
