In her words, “For my Eagle project, I built a 12×10-foot trailhead sign for Camp Sinawa. This took a lot of digging, painting, and muscle, but eventually, my team of people was able to gift this beautiful sign. I loved working with everyone involved, especially Eirik and Sara Nelson, who run the camp!”

Nolan Hill, from Troop 855 in Port Washington, WI, completed his Eagle Board of Review on Oct. 26, 2021.
For his Eagle project, Nolan constructed a portable life-jacket drying/storage rack, made from recycled plastic lumber & PVC, for Pirates’ Hollow Community Water Park, in Port Washington.
In his words, “In 2020 The Park & Rec was awarded a grant & were able to purchase 32 new life-jackets, but had no place to store them, other than in the boxes they arrived in or make them readily available for use by pool patrons. A reason I chose this project, other than the obvious need and benefit, is that I grew up coming to the pool to take swim lessons. The lessons helped me get comfortable in the water, and the life jackets can help others. This life jacket rack will make the life jackets readily available for anyone a little uncomfortable with the water.”
A Court of Honor is planned after the holidays. His Scoutmaster is Derek Strohl.

Tyler James-Keith Willey, from Troop 302, Marquette, MI, completed his Eagle Board of Review on June 29, 2021.
His Eagle project was to create 300 chemo port pillows for the Marquette County Cancer Society. As he wrote, “Tyler and 7 volunteers cut the material and Velcro strips, sewed the pillows, and stuffed them with fiber fill. The chemo port pillows have been delivered to the hospitals, nursing centers, and oncology doctor’s offices in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Northern Wisconsin. He was inspired to create the chemo port pillows because several of his family members have battled cancer.” Tyler carries on a family Eagle tradition in his family: two of his uncles and four of his cousins are Eagles.
A Court of Honor was held October 3, 2021. His Scoutmaster is Charles Suckow.
