Join us in congratulating these recent Bay-Lakes Council Eagle Scouts:

Evan Bahr, Troop 815 of Mequon, WI, Kettle Country District
Camden Flaig, Troop 874 of Plymouth, WI, Lakeshore District

Evan Bahr is a member of Troop 815 out of Mequon, WI, chartered by Lumen Christi Catholic Church. He completed his Eagle Board of Review on December 7, 2022.

His Eagle project in his words:

“My Eagle Scout project was to establish a pollinator garden to support the existence of pollinator species – bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. The pollinator garden is outside a cancer treatment Center and is visible from the chemotherapy center as well as from an adjacent walking path that is used both by employees and residents of the community. The garden features 20-30 individual plants from 6-10 distinct native plant species. Other features, such as a bench and a bee habitat, were added, as well as an engraved stone in the memory of our Scoutmaster who passed away in April 2022.”

His unit leader is James DeGuire. A Court of Honor is planned for March 5, 2023.

Camden Flaig is a member of Troop 874 out of Plymouth WI, chartered by Redeemer Lutheran Church.

He completed his Eagle board of review on December 1, 2022.

In his words, his Eagle project:

“For my project I built a 50 foot split rail fence at Generations in Plymouth. The purpose of the fence is to separate a farm field from their lawn. Scouts and adult leaders from my troop helped me complete my project. My project consisted of clearing thick brush, digging holes with a post hole digger, cementing fence posts, and assembling the fence.”

His Scoutmaster, at the time of his project and Board of Review, was Robert Flaig. (There is a new leader now.) A Court of Honor date will be scheduled.
