Join the Bay-Lakes Council Sponsored NRA Basic Muzzleloading Shooting Course at Bear Paw Scout Camp on October 15 – 17, 2021!
Students will be trained in the National Rifle Association (NRA) basic methods of muzzleloading rifle, shotgun, and pistol shooting. Attendance and participation in this training does not guarantee your completion of the courses. Students must show proper knowledge, skills, and attitude, by passing both a written exam AND practical shooting qualification. Those who pass this class will be qualified to become NRA Basic Muzzleloading Instructor Candidates. This next level NRA Basic Muzzleloading instructor class will be held in the Spring of 2022.
Cost: $125 for Registered Scouting members; $200 for non-Scouting members. Fees include NRA materials, lodging, and meals. Students are required to bring their own firearms and ammunition. Rental firearms and ammunition for purchase will be available for an additional fee.
Event Check-in: 5:00 – 6:30 PM on Friday October 15, 2021
Event Check-out: 12:00 PM on Sunday October 17, 2021
This course is limited to 20 participants. Registration is on a first come, first-served basis with payment due at registration. Please register early to ensure your place in this course.

NOTE: Time requirements for Basic Muzzleloader Shooting is 12 hours. Please be prepared accordingly.

In the event the course is unable to proceed, and the organizer cancels the course for any reason, fees paid for the course shall be fully refunded. The organizer shall not be liable for any direct, or indirect, consequential, or special damages that may be incurred due to such cancellation, including, but not limited to travel expenses, cancellation penalties and any other private expenses.
