Eathan Lund, Troop 36 of Hortonville, WI, Gathering Waters District
Skyla Bernhardt, member of Troop 683, chartered by Beaver Dam Community Hospital out of Beaver Dam, WI, completed her Eagle Board of Review on September 21, 2022.
Her Eagle project, in her own words:
“I made a little library for my community and gather books to fill and others in the area. The reason I chose this project is I wanted to share my love, a box with the community and make books available for free for all. A plant placed the little library, an area where people of all ages could enjoy a free book.”
Her unit leader is Tony Kikkert.
A Court of Honor is to be scheduled.
Collin Lund, member of Troop 36, chartered by American Legion Post 55 out of Hortonville, WI, completed his Eagle Board of Review on February 17, 2022.
His Eagle project, in his own words:
“My project was to build new gun racks for the Outagamie Conservation Club (OCC) trap ranges. There are four ranges and all of the previous racks were worn out. I grew up attending the club so this location meant a lot to me. I rebuilt the racks and added a few modifications making them more functional. The troop members, parents and volunteers from the OCC helped me build and paint the gun racks. The OCC puts on a lot of events for the public and especially the area youth so this will impact a lot of people for years to come.”
His unit leader Dave Bedrosian.
A Court of Honor was held jointly with his brother on July 10, 2022.
Eathan Lund, member of Troop 36, chartered by American Legion Post 55 out of Hortonville, WI, completed his Eagle Board of Review on June 16, 2022.
His Eagle project, in his own words:
“My project was to repair and repaint eleven picnic tables for the Outagamie Conservation Club. Some of the tables were in pretty bad shape and the club felt that this would be a much needed update for its members and guests. The OCC provides many public service events for the community such as gun/hunter safety classes, ATV safety courses, youth and adult trap leagues, snowmobile races, take a kid fishing day and many more events. The picnic tables are used for all of these events. Having them repaired and freshened up was a huge improvement. The troop members and parents as well as volunteers from the OCC helped me with the repairs and repainting. The update was very much appreciated by the OCC.”
His unit leader Dave Bedrosian.
