DJ Bellville is a member of Troop 400, chartered by Zion Lutheran Church in Manistique, MI.

DJ completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review on April 4, 2023.

His Eagle project, in his own words:

“I rebuilt the firepit at my local VFW. It was very old and just crumbling apart because of all the heat from the fires that have been put in it. Most of the fires were for retiring flags or barbecues for VFW events. My team and I made the entire thing from the ground up again, with cinder blocks. My team and I also lined the entire thing with fire brick, so it will take a lot longer to ever get to the crumbling stage. To top it all off, we put a nice cap over the cinder blocks and firebrick to help from water getting inside.”

His unit leader is Alan Barr.

A Court of Honor is yet to be scheduled.

Jake Hasley is a member of Troop 836, chartered by American Legion – Peter Wollner Post 288 in Cedarburg, WI.

Jake completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review on March 11, 2023.

Jake built a 1/2 mile hiking trail at MeeKwon Park in Mequon, Wisconsin, to connect two existing trail systems at the park. The project included digging out, leveling, and mulching the designated area for the trail. Many thanks to the Ozaukee Parks Department and all the volunteers that helped to complete the project.

His unit leader is Parker Shipley.

The Court of Honor will be scheduled in July 2023.

Kasey Kapler is a member of Troop 712, chartered by the Izaak Walton League, A.D. Sutherland Chapter-Fond du Lac, WI.

Kasey completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review on April 18, 2023.

In his words, “My project was primarily focused on repainting all of the trail marking posts at Shaginappi Park. The project also included clearing the beachfront of debris, cleaning the bathroom, cleaning the two entrance kiosk signs, and the repair and repainting of one of the kiosk signs. The Fond du Lac County Parks Department was very pleased with all of the work!”

His unit leader is Keith Schaefer.

A date for the Court of Honor is yet to be scheduled.

Tyler Pamperin is a member of Troop 59, chartered by American Legion Post 263 in New London, WI.

Tyler completed his Eagle Board of Review on April 20, 2023.

For his Eagle project, in his words:

“I built a sled loaning library (a structure where people can borrow or donate sleds and other winter items) for the City of New London Parks Department.

His unit leader is Mike Glatczak.

A Court of Honor will be scheduled.

Connor Rathe is a member  of Troop 852, chartered by the Rotary Club, out of Mequon, WI.

He completed his Eagle Board of Review on February 28, 2023.

In his words, “My project was a self-made Gaga ball pit put together with the help of my father and our troop, built for the local youth groups and others at Alliance Bible Church in Cedarburg. I decided to do this project as I attended their youth groups in the past and thought it would be a great idea for use as an activity in the warmer seasons.”

Connor’s unit leader is Tom Stark.

The Court of Honor will be on May 21 2023.
