Scouting Family,

On Tuesday, February 20, the Wisconsin State Assembly passed our school access bill on voice vote. It was a thrill to be in the gallery with some of our Scouts who testified last month at the Education Committee hearing as they were publicly recognized when the bill was introduced.

The bill has now passed in both chambers and is on its way to the Governor for his signature or veto. I was told last evening that he has not yet made his decision, but may do so as early as tomorrow (Friday, February 23).

I urgently request that you contact the Governor’s Office today, requesting that he sign the bill. For those of you who are employers or educators, you may wish to mention the positive impact Scouting has on those who will someday enter the workforce in Wisconsin.

Thank you,

Lucia Cronin
